This is one of my favourite places and (as you can see above) they are famous for their böreks. Tarihi Bilice Börekçisi gets quite busy during the weekends. The smell of freshly made börek attracts all Istanbulites to this rather hidden and not very centric breakfast place in Bahçeköy. Here you will find all varietis of freshly made böreks. You can try their üzümlü börek, or, if you prefer something more classical, go with peynirli or patatesli. If you cannot decide, then go karışık.
Besides böreks, here you can find the usual breakfast plates with always fresh veggies and delicious menemens. Prices are a bit higher but trust me, your stomach will thank you.
