Study in Turkey#5: Scholarships and other Study Opportunities

Dear followers,

In this post, I would like to share with you other study opportunities in Turkey, especially in Istanbul. And, good news, there are also alternative #scholarship opportunities for those who have missed Turkiye Burslari applications and/or haven't been selected and/or are not happy with the university placement.

If you always wanted study abroad, here is a great possibility. Many universities in Turkey, especially private universities in Istanbul are accepting more and more international students every year. That is why many of their programmes are in English. This is a very good news for those, who don't want to waste their time learning Turkish.

Sometimes choosing university abroad can be tricky, especially if you don't know the educational system of a country. That is why it's good to get some advice and recommendations. If your destination is Turkey and especially if you would like to study at one of the private universities in Istanbul, then don't forget to visit a page for educational consultancy Education & Mayar  before you register at the university.

Here are some of the private universities recommended by them:

Many of you have read my posts about studying in Turkey. You can find general information about studying in Turkey in my post Study in Turkey. If you have applied for YTB scholarship and want to learn about the process, check Study in Turkey #2. You can learn everything about YTB Interview here. I always really appreciate if you also share your interview and other experiences related to the scholarship in the comments. The process of getting your student residence permit is described here: Study in Turkey #3: How to get student residence permit. As the process is changing every year, I am trying to update it as often as possible, but again I am happy if you contribute with your comments and with sharing your personal experience. And Study in Turkey #4 is about what to expect during your first days and in your first month in Turkey.
